God’s Eternal Kingdom

 

In the beginning of the book of Revelation, God gave Jesus the revelation to show his servants what must soon take place. He makes this known to them by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw. John addresses seven churches with the challenge to remain faithful to Jesus despite persecution. It is the prophecy of what is to come. In the end excerpt of Revelation, it is revealed that all people who have ever lived will face a final judgement. The faithful are promised eternal life, free of evil, sin and darkness, while sinners are thrown into the lake of fire. God will dwell among the faithful in this new eternal heaven and earth. Christ assures us that he is coming soon; He is the Alpha and the Omega - the beginning and end of everything.
